Vivarium Plants
It is a wonderful experience to have a vivarium in your home.
One of the fun parts of having a vivarium is decorating it with vivarium plants which can make it look appealing and attractive.

Amphibians must have a nice habitat with different vivarium plants which enable them to live in an atmosphere similar to their original habitat. Second thing which has to be taken into consideration is space and your vivarium has to be chosen based upon the size of the pet. If you are going to keep small reptiles then it can easily fit into a smaller terrarium, but an old and more mature lizard needs a large vivarium to roam around in without any difficulty. It is always good to choose a vivarium of large size so you can accommodate even large lizards without difficulty.
If you are going to keep a desert lizard in your vivarium, then it is good to get it decorated with pieces of tree bark, cacti and other types of plants. A proper water supply is also needed for your vivarium and it must house a special dish to feed your reptile. It is good to keep dishes made out of natural materials like terracotta or porcelain to mimic its natural atmosphere.
Reptiles like lizards are amphibians which usually dwell in tropical or hot rain forests. Do not forget to decorate your vivarium with different materials like tree branch, roots, rocks and other materials which make it easy for them to climb and move about, just as they do in their natural habitat. You can find vivarium plants at the pet store where they usually sell reptiles.
Next important factor needed for the vivarium is to provide the right amount of heat. UV lights or special heaters can be used so that they can enjoy the natural habitat which they were previously enjoying. If you fail to provide the adequate amount of heat, they will fall sick or die within a short space of time. Do not install the UV lamps on to the top, but fix it on to the side and make sure that you do not exceed 100 Fahrenheit.
